Early Childhood


Summer Garden, Ages 2-4

Geared toward our youngest campers, this program emulates the daily rhythm of our wonderful Waldorf Kindergarten. The days are filled with arts & crafts, storytelling, water play, nature walks, and of course, play!

Age: 2-4 years old

Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
9:00 am - 3:00pm

Dates: June 9th-13th, June 16th-20th, June 23rd-27th

JUNE 9TH – JUNE 13TH

Cooking Camp

We are thrilled to offer a farm-to-table summer camp where students will care for, harvest, and prepare meals from our school garden. The daily schedule includes a morning garden tour, garden care, and meal preparation. At the week's end, students will receive a handmade recipe book. We encourage them to pack their own lunch and bring Tupperware for leftovers, and we are happy to accommodate dietary and allergy needs.

Designer Sewing Camp

Imagine creating your Dream Outfit, Halloween Costume, or Character by refashioning old clothes and fabrics. Get creative with items from your home, practice sewing skills, and enjoy making your own wearable creations. Prepare for camp by "shopping" in your closet or thrifting for oversized clothing, scarves, or any beautiful fabric. Bring several options to play, create, and design while upcycling and reducing waste. 

Age: Rising 6th-12th grades

JUNE 16TH – JUNE 20TH

Four Elements Camp

Join us for outdoor exploration, seasonal activities, and creative projects like painting and crafts, focusing on Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. The final camp day will feature themed games and activities. Note: Camp is canceled on Thursday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth, and the cost has been adjusted.

Exploring Plant Opportunities Camp

Campers will learn about edible plants and how to grow them, connecting botany, ecology, sustainable practices, and food security. Activities will include exploring soil, understanding seeds, and using the garden as a hands-on learning space while encouraging teamwork across ages. Note: Camp is canceled on Thursday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth, and the cost has been adjusted.

JUNE 23rd – JUNE 27TH

Theatre Camp

Dive into acting, improv, movement, and prop making, while gaining confidence and teamwork skills. Whether you're a first-time performer or a seasoned actor, you'll have the chance to develop new skills and hone in on old ones!

Hiking Camp

Join us for a week of meditative discovery. Each day our campers will head to a state park in GA for hiking, nature sights, and meditative, artistic activities. The intent for this group is to guide students through intentional movement and engagement with their surroundings.

JULY 7TH – JULY 11TH

Art Camp

Join a mixed media art camp with Stream Pickett, where participants will engage in expressive painting techniques, including bold lines, transparencies, and collage. Over the week, attendees will collaborate on one large piece, fostering creativity through music and exploration.

JULY 14TH – JULY 18TH

Exploring Plant Opportunities Camp

Campers will discover and learn about a variety of simple (but complex) edible plants and various options on how to grow them. Lessons will explore the links between botany, ecology, sustainable growing techniques, and food security. We will explore soil, appreciate the power of seeds, learn about worms, plant plants, and experience the garden as a laboratory for growing. Teamwork across ages is encouraged and supported in this hands-on active exploration of how to grow our own food wherever we are.

Music Therapy Camp

Students in the music therapy camp will be challenged and invited to explore the ways that we create, experience, and categorize music. Students will be led in many musical experiences from Sound Baths, Songwriting, to Mindful Music Making. Students will learn about the history, elements, and therapeutic aspects of music. Students do not have to be proficient in any instrument nor do they have to have musical experience to participate. Any willing spirit is welcome!

JULY 21st – JULY 25TH

Chess Camp

This summer, join us for a variety of challenging chess lessons, thrilling games, and fantastic prizes. Enhance your chess skills, make new friends, and exercise your most powerful muscle—your brain! Our camps feature enjoyable team chess games (such as Corner Chess), recess time, snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We provide all the materials needed for your child's participation, but full-day campers should bring their own lunch.

Tending to the Herbs Camp

We will start with tea made from herbs. We will be exploring the use of native teas, invasive teas, and imported teas. We will sample warm tea and iced tea. We will also learn about the importance of drying the herbs. The culinary aspect of herbs will be explored during our time together as well. Students can expect to leave with cuttings of different herbs for teas and kitchen use.

JULY 28TH – AUGUST 1ST

LEGO Camp

Master your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies and tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects. Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that even returning students get a new experience, so join us to design and build as never before and explore your craziest ideas.

Ages: 7 through 12 years old

Limited to 15 participants; Led by Lego Club

Tending to Succulents Camp

This class is an act of overstanding of succulent plant families and the benefits of succulents that are local to our area and from other parts of the world. You will explore what a succulent is, its physiology, its medicinal uses, and the simple joy of creating a succulent arrangement. Succulents and tools will be provided. Students will be asked to bring in a small container of their choice.
